Bespoke Private Tours

Lake District Tours

Whatever the weather, the changing moods of the Lake District have inspired artists, poets and travellers for centuries. Each chapter of its chequered history, from Viking invasion to industrial revolution, has left its mark on this enduring landscape.

From breathtaking views to well-trodden trails; lakes and mountains to bird watching, we can tailor a trip to surprise and delight you and your group. Pre-planned walk? We can drop you at the start and pick you up at the other end.

If you need inspiration or have specific requirements, we are always happy to chat and share our experience and passion for the region.

"Always there will be the lonely ridge, the dancing beck, the silent forest; always there will be the exhilaration of the summits. These are for the seeking, and those who seek and find while there is still time will be blessed both in mind and body."

Alfred Wainwright, The Western Fells

Our driver picked us up promptly from outside our hotel, and we set off on a drive along country lanes, and some of the most spectacular but less congested parts of Cumbria. His wealth of local knowledge (both geographical and historical) was fascinating and combined with his good humour and relaxed manner made our trip an exceptional experience. If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a few hours, and see some of the most picturesque parts of Britain I would recommend this trip (incorporating Ullswater and Hadrians Wall) unreservedly.
